Working as part of the Construction Management team with Turner Construction, Chronicle Consulting's responsibilities include verification of contractors' progress billings and work in place, preparation of progress billings to the Housing Authority, quality control and code compliance review, verification of compliance with applicable mandated wage rates (certified payroll verification), and minority project participation goals.

The project entails renovations to Mazza Pavilion to eliminate the mold condition, to eliminate the building characteristics that led to the mold condition, and to generally upgrade the building to modern standards. The scope requires replacement of the entire building 'skin,' and new designs to better integrate the building with the surrounding neighborhood.
