Consulting currently serves as Owner’s Representative / Construction Manager
for addition and alteration to 111,000 sf technical career center. Additions include a 12,000 sf expansion of
the Auto Technology Shop, a 4,500 sf meeting room addition, a 5,200 sf storage
building/garage and renovations to the entire building including Culinary Arts,
Beauty Salon, Kiddie Tech and Academics.
Renovations include upgrades to the HVAC and Plumbing systems.

Beattie Career Center offers advanced technical training, career development,
business ethics and career-related employment opportunities in 16 technical
areas. It serves high school students
from: Avonworth, Deer Lakes, Fox Chapel, Hampton Township, North Allegheny,
North Hills, Northgate, Pine-Richland and Shaler Area School Districts.
Chronicle Consulting provides pre-construction, construction
phase and close-out services for the duration of the project as well as LEED
Administration services.
Responsibilities included
preparation of cost estimates, phasing plan reviews, constructability reviews,
LEED feasibility studies, daily jobsite inspection; coordination with school
principal and custodian; emergency evacuation planning and daily maintenance
and jobsite security inspections; schedule management, review, analysis,
reporting; change order management, parallel estimating, review, negotiation,
recommendations; quality review and contract document updating; progress
photographs and monthly report preparation; designer/owner coordination-i.e.,
tracking of RFI’s, submittals, and action items; progress tracking and
requisition and schedule of values review; construction coordination
meetings/owner update meetings; pre-installation meetings; meetings with
building inspector and Fire Marshall for occupancy; and punchlist management.
